We believe in the sanctity of human life, and that it begins at conception. It is our firm conviction that God has a plan for every life, and that we do not have the right to take that unborn life for convenience or otherwise.
We also know the pain associated with unwanted pregnancies and the difficulties this creates for the women who find themselves unexpectedly carrying an unborn baby. But there are options beyond abortion which positively affect many through the process. The negative consequences to the women having abortions are rarely talked about in the public. While abortion is seen as a quick fix to the problem and never to be dealt with again, this is a lie of the enemy. The significant negative effects on these women are reason enough to put an end to this.

Facts About Abortion
In the United States, approximately 50 million babies have been aborted since the legalization of abortion in 1973. Approximately 24% of all pregnancies in the US end in abortion.
The two seemingly most used arguments supporting abortion are to protect the life or health of the mother or due to rape or incest causing the pregnancy. These are the reasons for only 2% of the abortions which occur in the US. 98% of abortions are personal choice, due to an unwanted or inconvenient pregnancy.
Abortion was legalized in the United States by the famous “Roe v. Wade” case in the US Supreme Court in 1973. “Jane Roe”, Norma McCorvey, was the woman the legal team used as the basis for the court challenge for abortions. At the time, McCorvey claimed to have been raped, and used this as the justification for her right to abort the baby. In 1995, McCorvey became a Christian and was baptized. Since then, she has become a strong advocate for the pro-life movement, and admits that the rape never occurred, but was instead made up to justify the court case. The legal basis for our country’s aborting over 50 million babies is based upon a lie.
Our Focus
We have a two-fold focus on abortion. First is to pray and take action to end this practice in America. We have regular active participation in pro-life activities in the Tampa Bay area. Our second focus is on the women who have had abortions. We reach out to them and let them know how much God loves them, just the same as He loves all of us. There is deliverance and healing available to the women who are suffering from their abortion.
