Awaken Tampa Bay Meetings
For our regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, we meet in the Main Sanctuary of New Beginnings Fellowship church. This provides us with a great venue for worship, prayer, teachings on the Word of God and practicing our calling on a regular basis.
In order to ensure that we are bold enough to fulfill our great commission outside the four walls of the church, we regularly spend time practicing operating in the Gifts of the Spirit during our meetings. Sometimes we just sit and listen for God to speak to us. Other times, we "press in" as a group to see what God has in store for us that night. Other times we practice giving prophetic words to one another, or lay hands on each other and get comfortable praying for healings.
We firmly believe that if we do not practice these things in the intimate setting of these friendly meetings, we will never be able to do so out in public where we are called to bring the kingdom of God here to earth.
